Geistlich 2020's first charity run benefited women in need in a Brazilian partner project. This year the donation will go to a Chinese children's project. A long-standing and close partnership links the Geistlich affiliate in Beijing with the project of the Chinese Society of Stomatology. Those responsible focus on children and their parents, carry out preventive dental care and, if necessary, finance interventions. For 13 years, the professional society has been taking care of the issue, training staff and controlling the allocation of funds.
From Wolhusen to Brazil: all pulling in the same direction
Ralf Halbach, CEO of Geistlich Pharma, was also on board: "Climbing Lucerne's local mountain, Mount Pilatus, has never been easier for me. For the good cause and the happy laughter of the children, it could have been 4,000 metres high for this undertaking!" 351 more Geistlich employees did the same in solidarity, walking and jogging together. Around half of the committed participants came from the two Central Swiss sites in Wolhusen and Root as well as the twelve affiliates worldwide. The result: a donation of 20,955 US dollars and an even more sporty workforce.
