The new spoof from Geistlich is about the “Blackbox” of Geistlich Bio-Oss® production and shows two perspectives. The protagonist inside the company is the Head of Materials Development and Production Technology, and a well-known dentist plays the role of the “outsider” and user of Geistlich Bio-Oss®.
Bones as Core Competence
The “Blackbox” in question unites four production steps, including extraction equipment at its core. Moreover, the production of Geistlich Bio-Oss® is stipulated in 255 specific documents, and includes 20 quality controls. What was started by pioneering scientist Dr. Peter Geistlich in the 1980s is now considered the state-of-the-art natural bone substitute in regenerative dentistry. It has been referenced in more than 1,000 scientific publications. The movie, produced by “Sooli Film” (directed by Ueli Stöckli) entitled “The Best Kept Secret”, embodies the spirit of Geistlich, namely its dedication to science, and a concentrated hub of know-how under one roof.
Guardians of the Holy Grail
The movie tells the story where the user of the product wants to uncover the secret of the "Blackbox", but the Geistlich scientist, as guardian of the Holy Grail, must not reveal it under any circumstances. The film depicts picturesque landscapes and inspiring interior shots. The music sets the tone and plays an important role. This–and much more–is offered in the Geistlich movie.
